What is Franz Porcelain?
Franz was launched in 2002 by Francis Chen, who
used the finest Chinese clay and talented artists to manufacture and
decorate the porcelain using a variety of traditional techniques
which includes under and over glazing.
It's a mixture of old and new methods,
combined to produce its strength and intrinsic appeal.
The Franz collection combines Art Nouveau and
classic Chinese art, into three dimensional porcelain, each piece
depicts the beauty of nature through the creative interpretations of
each artist. Hand Sculptured and Hand Painted this porcelain has
received numerous honours and awards worldwide.
Franz is made using hundreds of manufacturing
procedures with the finest clay and secret glazing. All pieces are
approved with certificates of ingredients (FDA & 84/500 EEC), making
all items food safe.
 The
bottom of every Franz item is embossed with the registered trademark
of Franz together with the signatures of both designer and sculptor.
The trademark of Franz, an icon of a seagull, represents free
creativity. The red figure is the founder's family name, Chen, shown
as a personal Chinese family seal. This Chinese figure and the
western characters of Franz, express Franz true mission for East to
