A piece of Belgium cycling history, a plaque given to distinguished guests probably at a function to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Belgium Cycling Federation. (RLVB ) in 1982. This particular one was presented to a past British Cycling President.
The RLVB is responsible for all disciplines of cycling in Belgium.
The plaque shows LVB probably because when it was founded on 11thNovember 1882 it was not given a royal name. The initials of BVB are the Koninklijke Begische Wielnjdersbond, which is the Royal Belgium Cycling League.
